3 Nourishing Meals Per Day
During the retreat, every meal is a celebration of vibrant flavors, inspired by my Afro-Surinamese heritage and influenced by different kitchens in the Caribbean. The entirely plant-based, dairy-free menu embraces an ‘Ital’ all-natural lifestyle, ensuring each dish is as nourishing as it is delicious.

Breakfast: Begin your day with a refreshing tea paired with some colorful and refreshing fruits. You can also enjoy customizable options like smoothies, porridge, or pancakes to suit your morning cravings.
Lunch: Savor a selection of hearty, flavorful soups, wraps of salads, perfect for refueling and nourishing your body with wholesome ingredients.
Dinner: Experience the full plant-based journey of ITAL MOMMA’S favourite meals.

Jamaica Retreat Itinerary 2026
Day 1- Arrivals at Norman Manley International Airport, Kingston.
Day 2- All white opening ceremony + Beach day + sensual body movements with Shanity Alvares
Day 3- Maroon Town + Nanny falls + wood & fire cooking
Day 4- River Cookout with Chef Vita
Day 5- Blue Lagoon + Clay massages + Steam chalice Ceremony with TaiJah (Jahsteamaz)
Day 6- Breakfast + departure
This gives you an idea of what the retreat itinerary can look like. In between there will be other interesting workshops that will be added. Every day starts with a guided meditation and some gentle body movements.

ITAL MOMMA
I am a passionate Plant-Based Culinary Artist and Lifestyle Coach, born and raised in the lush landscapes of Suriname and partially nurtured by the vibrant Island of Sint Maarten.
My journey towards a plant-based lifestyle began in 2020 during a transformative trip to Jamaica, where I discovered that my beloved Surinamese dishes can be just as flavorful without meat.
Through self-mastery, experimentation, and the wisdom of Rastafarian elders, I sharpened my culinary skills by blending traditional Afro-Surinamese techniques with modern plant-based practices. This dedication has allowed me to inspire many through my cookbooks, interactive Nature Cooking classes, and pop-up restaurant experiences.
As a global traveler, I now serve as a private chef and retreat chef, facilitating my own plant-based herbal wellness retreats across the Caribbean.
Cooking is more than a craft to me; it’s a meditation. It’s a way to express my art and create delicious, nourishing dishes that elevate the spirit. During the retreats, each experience is thoughtfully designed to enhance self-love, shift your mindset, improve your eating habits, deeply connect with nature, and encourage exploration and joy.
